Art Appreciation (Coming Soon)

This eight week class has been created for the non artist with no skills required. However I think it will be very informative and interesting for the practicing artist as well.

We are surrounded by art: everywhere we turn we see art. In this eight week class you will learn how to look at and understand ART: color, line and composition. How does the artist use these tools and more to convey his message? How did art evolve? What were the great eras of art all about? Learn how to "read" a painting or sculpture so that you can understand why a drawing, painting or sculpture expresses a particular feeling or mood. This is the class to take if you want to visit Crystal Bridges Museum or any other art exhibit.

Watch for upcoming classes in watercolor, pastels, color theory, and design!
